The mission of Branford Citizens for Responsible Development (BCRD) is to advocate for rational zoning, innovative economic development, and responsible land use in Branford, CT. We expect any development proposal to be consistent with Branford’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) and to respect the balance between the needs of Branford’s residents and business owners with the protection of Branford’s unique characteristics and natural resources. Accordingly, BCRD researches proposed development projects for consistency with the POCD and zoning regulations, and informs residents and business owners about potential ramifications of the project.
